Techsurf 2022 is an annual country-wide hackathon targeted to identify the brilliant coding minds from India.

Eligibility:

Techsurf 2022 is open to students pursuing B.Tech/B.E. (all specializations), BSc IT, BCA, and MCA who are currently in their final year (i.e. graduating batch of 2023).

Rules:

Techsurf 2022 is strictly for college students who are in the final year and are graduating in 2023.
Students from B.Tech/B.E., BSc IT, BCA, and MCA are eligible to participate.
The event and the event projects are meant to help grow and nurture students’ skills. Any help from non-participants is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
There are no prerequisites to participate, but having intermediate proficiency in programming will be helpful.
Selected final round participants will be expected to undergo appropriate demos and interviews.
The decision of the Contentstack jury will be final and binding.

Stages:

Round 1 - Online Quiz:

All registered participants will have to take an online quiz during the provided quiz window.
Every team will be ranked on accuracy (score).
Participating students will move on to the next level based on their performance in this assessment.

Round 2 - Video/Pitch Submissions:

The selected candidates from the quiz round will have to work on a pitch or video sharing their vision of the problem statement.
The problem statement can be downloaded from the Brief/Case icon given in the round description.

Round 3 - Prototype Submissions:

Round 3 gives the shortlisted candidates a choice between the following 2 tasks:
- Classification of News Categories: Writing a code using Jupyter Notebook or any other IDE
- Creating a website annotator: Write a JavaScript library that can be included in any website code as a script tag
Shortlisted candidates will be submitting their projects based on the problem statement.

Winner will be awarded INR 2 Lakhs cash prize and Pre-placement interview opportunity.
First Runner-Up will be awarded INR 1 Lakh cash prize and Pre-placement interview opportunity.
Second Runner-Up will be awarded INR 50,000 cash prize and Pre-placement interview opportunity.
Third Runner-Up will be awarded INR 50,000 cash prize and Pre-placement interview opportunity.
